Who We Are

Friends of Southeast Clarke Park works closely with Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services to assist with the development, enhancement, preservation, maintenance, and future planning of the park.

Friends is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Georgia. Friends was chartered in June, 2004, and consists of board members who represent all of the facilities at the park –World of Wonder playground, Wiggly Field dog park, Skatepark of Athens, athletic fields and tennis courts, and the natural area. Friends is overseen by a 10-member board of directors.

Interested in serving as a board member? We are regularly recruiting new individuals to be active participants on the board of directors or to serve on a special committee.
